Today, I want to share my top 10 productivity tips from the last year. Find all my tips and more resources on my Google Workspace YouTube Channel, which has nearly one million subscribers.

1. How to use “Help me write” in Gmail. Need help getting started with an important email you’re sending to your organization? Gemini can help you generate a draft with just the right tone.

2. How to use Gemini in Google Vids. Kickstart your next product launch video using a simple prompt in Vids. Turn your idea into a video clip or record yourself, your screen, or both to share a message. Create an impactful video while saving on production time and expense.

3. Generate an image in Google Slides. Struggling to find the right image for your presentation? Ask Gemini to create a visual, describing what you want in detail. Refine your request and ask for more suggestions until you have just the right picture.

4. How to create a Calendar event in Gmail. Your customer just emailed to confirm a meeting time. There’s no need to jump over to Google Calendar to schedule the event. Instead, create an event and send invitations, right from Gmail.

5. How to export to Google Docs from a Gemini prompt. You’ve researched competitive software products using the Gemini app (gemini.google.com). Now you want to share the data with your team. No problem — it’s easy to export from Gemini to Docs so data goes where you need it.

6. How to summarize selected text in Google Docs. You’ve received several long Docs with research on a new market trend. But all you need are the key points. Gemini in Docs can create a high-level summary. Ask Gemini questions to dig deeper into a specific topic.

7. How to generate a new slide easily in Google Slides. You’re about to present at a lunch-and-learn but forgot to add a key takeaway slide at the end. Ask Gemini to create the slide by describing exactly what you want. Then insert the slide directly into your presentation. You’ll still be on time for lunch.

8. How to create tables in Google Sheets. You’ve imported sales data from your CRM but it’s a mess. Sheets can transform the information into a clear, easy-to-use table with column headers, filters, color coding, and drop-down menus. Now you can quickly analyze the information by customer, region, or product and make more informed decisions.

9. How to translate captions in Google Meet. Leading a meeting with your team in Argentina? Remove language barriers in real time by translating the captions into Spanish. You’ll improve communication and ensure everyone feels valued and included.

10. Offer available times to meet in Gmail. Are you wasting time on back-and-forth emails just to schedule a coffee break with a colleague? Now you can share all your available dates and times, right from Gmail.
