Big Tiny is on a mission to build compact houses in rural ecotourism locations worldwide. But with teams spread across Singapore (HQ),  the Philippines (hospitality workers), India (IT), and Malaysia (manufacturing), the company needed a way for everyone to stay on the same page. That meant deploying collaboration applications accessible on any device in any timezone or location.

Google Workspace stood out as the ideal solution. It enables team members to securely store and share documents in Drive for real-time access and updates, while project and business tracking are supported with Sheets.

Meanwhile, they can chat, exchange emails, and join video conferences through Gmail and Meet. An integration of Gemini with Meet takes things a step further, enabling team members to be fully present during meetings, knowing they will receive AI-generated meeting notes and summaries afterwards. Gemini with Gmail also provides concise summaries of long email threads to enable leaders to respond to them accurately, but faster.

Access to Gemini through Google Workspace has enabled Big Tiny to generate localized campaign ideas and digital advertising content that resonates more effectively with targeted audience segments. The team prompts the AI model with questions and information about campaign objectives, strategies, and audiences to obtain outputs that complement or supersede the ideas generated by marketers.

Team members also use Gemini to identify research findings that verify or challenge the data points used to develop campaign ideas.

With Gemini, Big Tiny has reduced the time spent on first drafts of content by up to 50% on average, equating to about 20 work hours per month, and shortened the approval process by up to 40%, equating to about 10 work hours per month.

Next, the organization plans to extend its use of Google AI to provide a better experience for guests who book stays at its tiny houses, including locations on a planned route, weather forecasts, and recommendations of nearby attractions.
