As Johnson Lifts’ customers, employees and locations grew across India, the business needed to improve collaboration while strengthening its defenses against phishing and other malware-based attacks. The business selected Google Workspace for its extensive functionality, security, cost-effectiveness, and specialist editions for frontline workers, and its included-as-standard mobile device management tools. Drive enables Johnson Lifts to securely share sensitive tender documents with customers, while its technology team uses AppSheet to build tools for IT service requests. A combination of deep functionality and ease of use has reduced collaboration support ticket numbers by about 20%, and improved overall productivity by 10% .

Working with Google Cloud Premier Partner Sonata Software, Johnson Lifts has deployed the Google Workspace endpoint management–MDM solution to company-issued tablets or mobile phones used by team members who maintain lifts and escalators. This prevents data leakage if any of these devices are lost or stolen, and ensures that only approved apps and software run on them, minimizing potential security threats. 

With Google Workspace apps and Google Workspace endpoint management, maintenance team members can securely use a company-developed app to record problems and track resolution, chat online with colleagues, or organize Google Meet calls with subject matter experts to address more complex issues. The business can also securely issue app updates across its fleet and transfer devices between workers.
