• 1. Introduction

  • “Google Workspace Individual” gives you access to the Google Workspace Individual Products (described below) with certain premium productivity features and enhancements, as well as access to Customer Support (described below). All these products and services are provided, subject to the Google Terms of Service (“Google TOS”), by Google LLC.

  • To use Google Workspace Individual, you must accept (1) the Google TOS, (2) the service-specific additional terms and policies for the Google Workspace Individual Products, and (3) these Google Workspace Individual Additional Terms of Service (the “GWI Additional Terms”).

  • Please read each of these documents carefully. Together with the Google Payments Terms of Service and Data Processing Addendum mentioned below, they are known as the “Terms”. The Terms establish what you can expect from us as you use Google Workspace Individual, and what we expect from you.

  • If these GWI Additional Terms conflict with the Google TOS, these GWI Additional Terms will govern for Google Workspace Individual.

• 2. General Description of Google Workspace Individual

  • Google Workspace Individual provides you with access to the following Google products (the “Google Workspace Individual Products”), together with premium productivity features and enhancements for those products, and the ability to access customer support for them (“Customer Support”):

    • • Gmail

    • • Google Calendar

    • • Google Docs

    • • Google Sheets

    • • Google Slides

    • • Google Forms

    • • Google Drive

    • • Google Chat

    • • Google Meet

    • • Google Jamboard

    • • Google Tasks

  • Your use of any other Google products or services is governed by the terms of service applicable to those products or services.

• 3. Payment and Subscription

  • To purchase a subscription to Google Workspace Individual, you must accept the Google Payments Terms of Service and have a valid, accepted payment method on file in your Google account. You must also have a valid, accepted payment method on file if you want to participate in free trial offers. The Google Payments Privacy Notice describes how your payments data is handled.

  • Your subscription to Google Workspace Individual will continue until it is cancelled or suspended as allowed by the Terms. Your subscription fees for Google Workspace Individual are non-refundable unless the Terms expressly allow for refunds.

  • We may change the Google Workspace Individual price(s) in effect but will give you prior notice. Any changes will apply after the term of your existing subscription ends, when the payment for your next subscription term is due. We will give you at least 30 days’ prior notice of a price increase before you are charged the new price; if you are given less than 30 days' prior notice, the new price will not apply to your next subscription term but only to the subscription term after it. If you do not wish to continue with Google Workspace Individual or the new price, you may cancel your subscription at any time as described in Section 7 (Cancellation) below.

• 4. Customer Support

  • If you access Customer Support, you acknowledge that we will access necessary information from your Google account about your use of Google Workspace Individual Products, as described in Section 5 (Privacy) below, in order to provide you with Customer Support and resolve the issues reported.

  • If Customer Support is unable to resolve your support issues, or if your support request does not relate to Google Workspace Individual Products, we may transfer or redirect you to the customer support service of the Google product or service in question.

  • If your Google Workspace Individual subscription is cancelled or suspended, your unresolved Customer Support issues may also be suspended, and you may need to start a new inquiry once you have reinstated your subscription.

• 5. Privacy

  • Although it’s not part of the Terms, our Privacy Policy explains how we treat your personal data and protect your privacy when you use Google Workspace Individual, including when you submit, store, send or receive data for personal purposes or household activities. However, when you use Google Workspace Individual to submit, store, send or receive data for other purposes (e.g. business purposes), we will treat that data as described in the Data Processing Addendum. Learn more.

  • In connection with your use of Google Workspace Individual, we may also send you service announcements, administrative messages, and other information, as well as emails and device notifications associated with your subscription. You may opt out of some of those communications.

• 6. Changes

  • We reserve the right to make changes to Google Workspace Individual, for example to provide more or different features. You agree that your subscription to Google Workspace Individual is for Google Workspace Individual in whatever form Google offers at any given time. From time to time we may also change the Terms or our prices or subscription packages for Google Workspace Individual.

  • Our promise to give you prior notice of any price changes, and your rights regarding those changes, are described in Section 3 (Payment and Subscription) above. We will also provide you with notice of material changes to these GWI Additional Terms that we reasonably believe will adversely impact you. However, there are times when we will need to make changes (which may include materially adverse changes) to Google Workspace Individual or these GWI Additional Terms without giving notice. These will be limited to instances where we need to take action to ensure the security and operability of Google Workspace Individual, prevent abuse, or where we must act to meet legal requirements.

• 7. Cancellation

  • You may cancel your Google Workspace Individual subscription at any time by visiting pay.google.com and selecting subscriptions and services. If you cancel in this way, you will retain access to Google Workspace Individual until the term of your existing subscription ends, and your access to other Google products and services will not be affected.
