Make the most of your time at work with Gemini in the Workspace apps

Audio summaries in Docs: Staying on top of your work doesn't have to mean working longer hours. With audio summaries in Docs, you can now turn a dense report into a quick listen. Simply choose a persona like a coach or narrator to generate a short verbal synopsis of your document, allowing you to prepare for a meeting or catch up while you’re on the go.

Proofread in Gmail: To get quick, actionable suggestions to improve your emails as you write them, we’re bringing proactive proofreading to Gmail. Proofread suggests spelling and grammar improvements, including rewording for brevity, active voice, sentence structure, and word choice, so your email draft is polished before you hit send.

Better time suggestions in Calendar: With Gemini powered time suggestions for scheduling and rescheduling in Google Calendar, we’re removing the friction from meeting logistics. By analyzing everyone’s availability, time zones, and working hours, Gemini in Calendar quickly identifies the best time slots, even on busy calendars. If multiple attendees decline your invite and you need to reschedule, you’ll see a banner with a time when everyone is available, letting you update the invite with the click of a button.

Share emails to Chat: Make sure everyone is on the same page by sharing conversations from Gmail to Chat. Pass along important customer emails or critical project data, amplify an email announcement, or move busy conversations out of your inbox. Forward the message and Gmail will send a persistent link to your Chat conversation, ensuring everyone on the team is up to date, no matter where the conversation happens.

Bridge language barriers for global collaboration with expanded language support in Meet and Vids

Collaborate effortlessly across different languages with near real-time speech translation in Google Meet. Not only does it translate spoken words on the fly, but it also preserves the original tone and expressiveness of the speaker, so nothing gets lost in translation.

To further support global teamwork, Google Vids now offers expanded language support for AI voiceovers and AI Avatars. With seven new languages available (Spanish, French, Italian, German, Portuguese, Japanese, and Korean), creating engaging, multilingual content has never been easier. Just write your script in the target language, and let your AI Avatar do the talking.
