Workspace Studio will adhere to the existing, robust Gemini and Workspace data protection commitments for Gemini Alpha customers: Customer data remains the customer's property.Data is not used for advertising.Data processed within Studio (such as prompts or data accessed by agents) is not used to train Google's general AI models outside the customer's domain.Enterprise-grade security and privacy controls will apply.Access controls are respected (Studio can only access data that the initiating user has permission to access). Google AI Studio is a web-based tool to prototype and build AI-first applications with Gemini.

Google Workspace Studio will not override DLP controls within Workspace for applicable services like Drive, for example.

Broader DLP integration for third-party services in Studio is being contemplated but is not yet part of our immediate plans. Admins should consider which third-party services they want to connect to Studio just as they do for Workspace overall.
